Welcome Back!
I hope that everyone had a wonderful spring break. It was fun to listen to all of the stories this morning before we got down to business.
Language Arts
Today was a busy day for us. We settled right in and got to work. We wrote about spring break and then had a pep talk about Map testing. We went to IMC, took our spelling pretest and worked on grammar. This week we are talking about when to use more and most.
Map testing went really well. Everyone slowed down and did their personal best. I was very pleased with the time everyone took and how everyone used their scrap paper to figure out answers. The time they took was worth it and it showed in their results.
Math
Today we reviewed area and how to fine the area of rectangular shapes. Homework is study link 9.4.
Science
Welcome Mrs. Woods class to science. We will be having fun learning about landforms. We will study how canyons form. We will study mountains and different types of Maps. No homework tonight.
