Wild Wednesday
4th grade friends - We had a great time at Connor Prairie yesterday! A giant thank you to everyone who helped to make the day a success!
Language Arts - We finished reading Sign of the Beaver and visited our reading buddies. No homework tonight but the last book order of the year is due tomorrow. Sorry for the late turn around but I want to order tomorrow so that I can get the books by the end of the year!
Math - We worked on finding the volume of a cylinder. The process is the same as a prism. Find the area of the base and then multiply by the height.
Homeroom - Some of the 4th grade classes had an Art Smart Lesson today. So we stayed in homeroom and watched a movie on erosion and then cleaned up the room a little. A giant thank you to all my helpers.
What are you doing for lunch on field day? We want to know! Turn in your papers!

Watercolors, salt and crayon........
Today was LA - all day!
We spend the day with Matt and Attean in the Maine wilderness. We watched as Attean taught Matt all about the woods and how to survive on his own. We saw the boys overcome dangerous situations and learned more about Attean's life. No homework tonight
We also had Artist in Residence today. We learned some very interesting techniques for using resistance and water colors. We learned that we are creative people and it doesn't really matter what kind of problem we have we can work on it creatively.
Don't forget that tomorrow is a Thursday schedule! Music and PE tomorrow.
