I apologize for not blogging yet this week.
Don't forget - McTeacher Night is tonight. Yea!!! No cooking involved. Head over to McDonalds between 4:30 and 7:00 and see who is serving!
Tonight is also Explorations Night. This is a good opportunity to pick up gifts for children. Shop at Explorations in Heritage Square and Northpoint's PTO gets a percentage of the sales. Shopping hours are from 8:00-9:00.
Language Arts
Today we reviewed many skills. We also practiced our spelling words. We looked at the proper way to capitalize and punctuate titles. We looked for examples of repetition and assonance in song lyrics and poetry. We also visited with our reading buddies and made inferences about our story for the week.
Math
Today we measured different parts of our hands and used that information to build stem and leaf plots. We then looked for landmarks in the data we collected. Homework is math boxes and study link 6.3.
Science
Today we converted our information about swingers to a two-coordinate graph. We practiced making predictions when we know one of the coordinates. No homework.
