We introduced this week's skills today. Our focus will be on making inferences. We will also work on singular and plural nouns. Our vocabulary skill focuses on word origins.
Vocab words: Overheard, opportunities, border, unions, strikes, citizens, and boycotts
Common Core: Suspense, primary source, singular nouns, plural nouns, audience, and character traits.
HW: Weekly Homework Packet - Due Thursday.
Math~
Today we started working with decimals. We looked at how decimals and fractions are related and practiced writing decimals. We will continue this focus all unit long.
