Mismatched Monday

We kicked off our Red Ribbon Week celebration by wearing mismatched clothing today.  Tomorrow is wear red day.
Parent Teacher conferences are tomorrow and Wednesday.  Check those times.....

Language Arts~
Today was double specials day.  We had music and went to the library.  We came back to the classroom and started off with a spelling pretest.  We then talked about subject pronouns and reviewed plural and possessive nouns.  This is still giving a few of us some issues.  We read a short story that introduced our vocabulary and comprehension skills for the week.  Our vocabulary includes: weekdays, cardboard, slithered, genuine, apologize, harmless and ambulance.  Our comprehension skill is to make inferences and generate questions.  We then listened to our story, "Dear Mr. Winston."
