What a busy day!
Language Arts~
We went to the computer lab and worked on Odyssey. It is amazing how quiet and focused the kids are during this time. I'm very proud of them. We came back to the classroom and worked on grammar. We reviewed plurals, possessives and talked about what to do with titles. Basically a major work gets underlined and something that is a part of another work gets quotes. We reviewed the meanings of spelling words. Next we went down to first grade and listened to our buddies read. We came back to the room and heard more reading projects. We shall finish those up tomorrow.
HW: Keep working on Weekly Homework.
Math~
We did centers today.
*Miss Grannan - We worked on estimating decimals.
*Miss Claire - We played decimal top it
*Odyssey - We worked on the math part of Odyssesy
*On Your Own - We read page 27 in our Student Reference book and did math boxes and study link 4.4
HW: Math boxes and Study link 4.4 (If not already completed)
Science~
We reviewed profile maps, contour lines, contour intervals, benchmarks and other information having to do with mountains. No homework
