Today was a snow make up day. We made up the Wednesday we missed earlier in the school year. So even though it was a Friday, we followed a Wednesday Schedule.
Language Arts: I read chapters 14-18 to the students. They completed day 4 in their lit logs and did their literature circle jobs. We went to reading buddies. They discussed the section and then they read chapters 19-23.
Math: Game Day! We practiced various math skills on odyssey and study island. (Remember you can use both of these at home.) We also practiced adding integers, area and perimeter, and multiplication.
Health: We talked about strategies to choose healthy snacks using the food pyramid.
