Thursday is Go Green day. Stars in Service is raising money for the river otter exhibit at the zoo. Students can pay $1 per item and be able to wear green pajamas and hats, chew green gum, or bring green stuffed animals. Remember no hair dye.
Language Arts~
We went to PE. We worked on skills this morning. We sorted spelling words by how we spelled the er sound. We then worked on superlative and comparative adjectives. When do you use more and most? We continued working on our poetry books and also read the story together and focused on what we know about the characters an how we know it. Don't forget the RIT quiz on Thursday!
Math~
Test day. We showed all we knew about decimals, percents and fractions! We problem solved and reviewed parenthesis and perimeter. We also previewed reflections and symmetry.
Science~
Today we figured out what would make a better string of lights. A series or parallel circuit?
