I am back at school and glad to be back.
Something that comes up from time to time is changes in after school arrangements. If you need to change the schedule for your student after the day starts it is okay to shoot me a message. Please also contact the school office. If I can't check email or I am not at school, the wonderful office ladies will make sure your child gets the message.
Language Arts~
The students went to music class today. We came back to class and took the chapter 9 vocabulary quiz. I collected the chapter questions and we read chapter 10. We then made text to text connections by comparing a character in Percy Jackson with a character in another book that they have read. We worked on chapter 10 questions.
HW: Anything they did not get done today and study for a vocabulary quiz tomorrow.
Math~
There is a math test tomorrow. All students brought home a review we did in class today. They should review those concepts and be ready for the test tomorrow. The test will cover prime numbers and factors.
HW: Review for test.
Science (Grannan)~
Today we learned about how the movements of Earth and the moon create eclipses and tides.
