Language Arts~
After specials, we took our chapters 17 and 18 vocabulary quizzes. We reviewed the answers to the comprehension questions for those chapters as well. We previewed chapter 19 vocabulary and read about Percy's confrontation in the underworld. We then worked on chapter 19 questions.
HW Finish chapter 19 questions, study for quiz, copy myth onto myth paper.
Language Arts New of Note - Percy Jackson final test on Friday. (study guides went home today)
Book orders are due on Thursday!
Math~
Today we studied chance events. We talked about probability vocabulary: certain, extremely likely, very likely, likely, 50-50 chance, unlikely, very unlikely, extremely unlikely, impossible. We also linked these words with percentages, decimals, and fractions.
HW: Finish pages 44-46 in journal 1 and study link 2.6
Math News of Note: Unit 2 test will be next Tuesday.
Science (Grannan)~
Today we concluded our chapter about the Earth and moon and how they create cycles. Students will have an open book test on Wednesday.
