Language Arts~
We went to gym. We came back to class and took our chapter 19 vocabulary quiz. We reviewed chapter 19 questions and previewed chapter 20 vocabulary. We read chapter 20 and then had some work time to work on the following items.
1. Add events to our timeline.
2. Update our places to know map and information.
3. Chapter 20 comprehension questions
4. Finish up myth writing
5. Write poetry about the gods.
We also had vocab vine today where we learned about the Greek root cosmo. It means world or universe.
HW: Finish up today's work.
Book order is due on Thursday!
Math~
Today we reviewed unit one and two concepts. We also learned about magnitude assessments and making estimates.
HW: Pages 48 and 49 in our journal. Study link 2.7
Science (Wood)s~
Today we concluded our chapter about the Earth and moon and how they create cycles. Students will have an open book test on Friday. Your child may have brought home a paper that says it needed to be signed. We went over that paper today in class. It does not need to be signed and returned.
