Today was our 100th day of school.
Language Arts
We reviewed skills and practiced our "manu" words. We started working on our vocabulary words for chapters 1-3 in our novel study. We read chapters 1 and 2 in The Cricket in Times Square. We went to gym and music. Homework: Finish vocabulary assignment.
Math
We continued looking at positive and negative numbers. No homework today.
Science
Today we set up an evaporation experiment to see if we could come up with more evidence for calcite in the rocks. No homework.
Don't forget Science Night. The PTO has put together a wonderful event from 5:30-7:30 pm at the school.
Don't forget that Science Expo is due next Monday!
