Language Arts
Today we reviewed language arts skills. We went over the definitions of our spelling words and reviewed possessive pronouns. We also discussed when it was appropriate to use hyphens. We read more or our story "Hurricanes." We visited with our reading buddies and worked on typing our published books.
Math
We reviewed how to multiply fractions. We took a quiz. I didn't count the quiz as a grade because it was evident that many of us need more practice. Some things to remember: always put mixed numbers into improper fractions, use the cross canceling method to make reducing easier. There will be a quiz tomorrow that looks just like the one they did today. They should have the quiz to review.
Art
We did the school-wide art project today.
