We went outside for part of health class. Wow, it's windy out there.
Language Arts -
We reviewed our Greek and Latin roots. We went over language arts concepts. We figured out which homophone works in certain sentences. We learned when we use colons and corrected some articles that were misused. We read our story with a partner and went to reading buddies. We talked about online encyclopedia entries, key words and hyperlinks. We wrote about what hybrid plant we would develop if we had the chance.
Tomorrow is our test day. Weekly homework is due tomorrow. We are also having a status update on our states project.
Math -
We took a quiz over coordinate grids. We began learning about how to find the area of a rectangle. Some of the shapes we looked at today were made up of different rectangles. That was a little challenging. Study link 9.4 is due tomorrow.
Health -
We went over our test from yesterday. We went outside and began designing a fitness walk.
