Wednesday already?
Language Arts
We went to computer lab this morning and practiced our typing skills. We sorted our spelling words by the way that we spell the long e sound. We continued practicing combining sentences in grammar. We visited our reading buddies. We also reread our story. We had vocabulary vine today as well.
Homework is just continuing to work on homework packet.
We also talked about a service project that we will be working on in class. We are putting together a family night basket to be raffled off for the Make a Wish foundation. Look for a letter to come home tomorrow.
Math
Today we looked at all the different ways that we use numbers. We count, measure, compare, use as a reference and as codes. Homework is Mathboxes 2.1. Study Link was not assigned and most students finished the math boxes at school.
Science (Woods)
We watched a movie about different land formations and then took a walk outside to plan our models of the school yard.
No homework.
