Language Arts:
Today we wrote some more Haiku. We looked at the meanings of our our spelling words. We practiced proofreading in grammar. We hunted for punctuation and grammar mistakes. We also fixed sentence fragments. We also read a Social Studies article about swamps and compared that to our reading story. We talked about maps. We also visited our reading buddies and reviewed subject and predicate.
Book order: Did you order a book order but didn't get your books back yet? I got a special order box with $17.00 worth of books in it. The titles seem like girl books to me. Could they be your families? Please contact me if they are!

Today we worked on subtraction of 2-4 digit numbers. Math Test on Friday!
