I saw some box tops come in today. I wonder if we reached our goal yet? I also saw some envelopes for the donation drive. Thanks for supporting our PTO! They do great things for our kids.
Language Arts
Today we took our spelling bubble and selection assessment. We will be outside for 2 hours tomorrow a.m. with No Child Left Inside. We wanted to make sure that everything got done!
We learned the Greek prefix Inter (among, between) and cap, capt (seize, take, hold) We reviewed cause and effect and read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We are almost done with the book. Thanks to everyone who sent in candy boxes. Don't forget that those boxes are due tomorrow.
Weekly homework is due tomorrow, too.
Math
Today we worked with big numbers as we used taking a sample to estimate the answer to how long it would take to make 1 million tally marks. What did we find out? Homework tonight is Study Link 2.10. We will start reviewing unit 2 concepts on Monday. The test will be on Wednesday.
Health
Today we talked about body language and stress. We learned ways to manage our stress. Homework is Lesson checkup 3 and the vocabulary worksheeet (page 7). It looks like our test will be next Friday.
