Bus Safety Day
All students participated in bus safety today. We learned how to be safe on the bus and what to do in an emergency.
Language Arts
We practiced our grammar skill of plural and singular nouns. We sorted spelling words by spelling and used the words to fill in a paragraph. We reread the story and looked for facts and opinions.
Math
We practiced measuring angles and began trying to figure out if all polygons have the same total number of degrees. For example, We have discovered that all the angles of a triangle add up to 180 degrees. Tomorrow we will continue the investigation.
Science
We made magnet that will turn on and off. We used electricity to do it. Tomorrow we will figure out more things about this electromagnet.
