Language Arts
Today was assessment day! The kids worked hard showing what they know. They also drew a picture of an idiom for a class book we are making. Fire Chief Buchannan came to talk about being drug free and fire safety.
Math
We had game day today. We worked on attributes of polygons, measuring angles, math facts as well as spent some time with the teacher. The teacher group went over and corrected a quiz that we took earlier in the week.
Art Smart
Thank you to our Art Smart moms. Today we learned about art as activism. Sometimes art is used to make a point. Check out our fabulous black and white drawings are in the music hallway. Check it out!
Conferences
Monday-Wednesday next week are early dismissal days. School will be dismissed at 10:20. We will be having parent teacher conferences in the afternoon and evening on Monday and in the afternoon on Tuesday. We will make every effort to be on time for your conference. If you arrive late for your conference, we will still have to end on time in order for the sibling conferences and our other conferences to remain on schedule.
